1. Who we are

Powder Realty (“Powder Realty”, “we”, “us”) operates the website powderrealty.haus and the Powder Realty iOS and Android apps (together, the “Service”). This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can control it.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Email address, when you create a price-drop alert or contact us
  • Property inquiries you submit through the Service
  • Saved property lists, which are stored on your device by default

Information collected automatically

  • Device type, operating system, and app version
  • Push notification tokens (iOS and Android apps only) to deliver alerts you've opted into
  • Aggregated, anonymous usage analytics (pages viewed, buttons tapped) via Vercel Analytics
  • Standard server log data (IP address, timestamp, request path)

Information we do NOT collect

  • We do not use third-party advertising trackers
  • We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone
  • We do not profile you across other apps or websites

3. How we use your information

  • To operate the Service and show you property listings
  • To send price-drop alerts you specifically sign up for
  • To respond to inquiries and support requests
  • To diagnose technical problems and improve the Service
  • To comply with legal obligations

4. Push notifications (iOS and Android)

When you install the Powder Realty app and accept the notification permission prompt, your device shares a unique push token with us. We store this token to deliver price-drop alerts and new-listing notifications you've subscribed to. You can disable notifications at any time from your device's Settings → Notifications → Powder Realty.

5. Third parties we work with

  • Vercel — hosting and anonymous analytics
  • Neon — PostgreSQL database hosting
  • Apple Push Notification service — iOS push delivery
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging — Android push delivery (if applicable)
  • Airbnb, SUUMO, Homegate, and other public listing sources — we aggregate property data from these sources; we do not share your data with them

6. Your rights

You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent for any optional processing. Email privacy@powderrealty.haus and we'll respond within 30 days. Residents of the EEA, UK, California, and other jurisdictions with data protection laws have additional rights under those laws, which we honor.

7. Data retention

We keep price-drop alert emails until you unsubscribe. Push tokens are retained while your app install is active and deleted when Apple or Google reports the token as invalid. Anonymous analytics are retained for up to 24 months.

8. Children

Powder Realty is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in-app. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
